The English Riviera BID Company are delighted to confirm that they have been successful with their bid to VisitEngland for Continuation Funding! This means they are able to take England’s Seafood Coast to the next stage for a further 12 months.

Following their comprehensive six month research project, they have successfully secured an additional £100,000 from the VisitEngland Discover England Fund. A new programme of work will now commence, working in partnership with local businesses to develop new Seafood Coast products to specifically target markets in Germany, Scandinavia, Holland and USA, as well as plans to also develop a new International England’s Seafood Coast Festival.

They have engaged with over 200 local tourism businesses and organisations through the first stage of the project to map the full potential of England’s Seafood Coast. The England Seafood Coast brand has strong links to local food and drink, walking, heritage and culture and has been identified as having global appeal.
