Tuesday 26th November, 7-9pm, Berry Head Hotel
Join us for our latest open meeting where we will be focusing on the following:
- AI is the new hot topic. Peter Blackler from Insignia Creative will showcase examples of how AI can boost efficiency, reduce costs and unlock innovative ways to engage with customers. From automating routine tasks to leveraging data analytics for strategic insights, this talk will demonstrate how businesses can harness the power of AI to stay ahead of the competition.
- My Bay – a new scheme set up by Torbay Council for Torbay residents. This new scheme launches in January 2025 and it will create great opportunities for businesses to connect with local residents. Councillor Adam Billings will be talking to us about the scheme and how we can get involved as businesses and individuals.
- South West Water update. We’ll be updating members on the progress we’ve made in recent weeks including:
- Business compensation – the current situation
- Destination Marketing – South West water have agreed to provide funding of £1.2m to boost destination marketing.
- Member update: Dave Barter will be telling us about his business Nautoguide, which has been shortlisted for an award for the work on Brixham Walks website and been awarded innovation funding for a different project.
