The 2015 Herald Express South Devon Business Excellence Awards are now officially open to enter. This year’s awards were launched at a networking event at Torquay’s Imperial Hotel.

Editor of the Herald Express Jim Parker said: “These awards are now in their eighth year and in that time that have grown in stature and status to become one of the main highlights of South Devon’s annual business calendar. Entries have reached record numbers and the quality of nominations has reached new levels. Almost 300 people attended a glittering final awards night at the Riviera International Conference Centre last year and we have every confidence that those numbers will increase again this year.”

Mr Parker added: “The awards are all about recognising success. Success from businesses, organisations and individuals who have gone that extra mile to make sure our market place continues to have that buzz and vibrancy about it despite all the challenges we may still face.”

He thanked the headline sponsors of the awards, Torbay Development Agency, and Torbay Council which is supporting the awards again this year and the current category sponsors.
