We are greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Eddie Bence, owner of Brixham’s iconic Berry Head Hotel and long-standing member and supporter of Brixham Chamber of Commerce.
Eddie was highly respected throughout the UK tourism and hospitality industry, the local business community and Brixham/Torbay in general. He was known not only for his professional achievements but also for his dedication to local causes and his generosity, wisdom and willingness to help others. His contributions strengthened and enriched our community in countless ways.
On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, we extend our deepest condolences to Eddie’s family, friends, colleagues and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
