The Smugglers Hotel and Restaurant has officially reopened following a stunning refurbishment, breathing new life into one of Brixham’s most historic and beloved venues.
Just moments from the harbour, the Smugglers is once again offering a warm welcome to residents and visitors alike, with a refreshed space, cosy rooms and an exciting new menu.
The dining room features an Argentinian double grill where roasts and seasonal dishes are cooked over open flames, right in the heart of the restaurant.
Expect everything from beautifully grilled Tomahawk steaks to light coastal lunches, all crafted with quality ingredients and a deep respect for our region’s producers.
New owners Mark and Emily Bury, who also run the historic award-winning 17th-century pub the Dartmoor Inn in Merrivale, are committed to supporting the South West’s fishing community, farmers and local producers. From fresh-off-the-boat seafood to locally sourced meats and seasonal vegetables, their new menus celebrate the best of what our region has to offer, while directly supporting the people behind it.
